Libya


Lately the news has been flooded with reports of riots and the storming of embassies, particularly in the Middle East. Questions of whether to continue or withhold aid are taking the forefront of the talks.

And whatever your political, religious, or personal stance is, we must remember something.

Just because a select group committed a certain act, doesn’t mean that the whole country stands by it.

What if everyone pegged you with every decision made by your boss, your friend, your president?

Some locals in Libya took a stand against the acts committed against the US ambassador…

  1. Thank you for this. The ignorance of so many of my friends and family breaks my heart, especially when I see posts on FB about how we need to bomb Libya, or posts that show the lack of knowledge of the history, our history, in the Middle East. Violence begets violence… and we are not without our share of it. I just pray for the day when this won’t be the lay of our world… but I fear that that day will never come.

    • I think as long as people are here, there will be disagreements and ultimately war. It’s just the way it is. But maybe we can reduce the hate along the way…Share this site of pictures if you can- it may change some opinions….
