Don’t Stop Now

“And there came a voice out from within heaven, ‘You are My Beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.’ Immediately, the Holy Spirit from within drove Him out into the wilderness. And he stayed…forty days, being all the while tempted by Satan; and He was with wild beasts, and the angels ministered to Him continually.”

Mark 1:11-13

Within 3 verses, Jesus is affirmed by God, drawn into the wilderness, tempted, surrounded by crazy animals, and ministered to by angels…talk about confusion.

You’re on the “mountaintop”. You’ve been having great quiet times, you’re learning things left and right, and He’s speaking to you constantly. He is just so good!

Then you suddenly find yourself alone…

You’re pretty sure You’re in God’s will…but now you’re confused.

You’re lonely.

Past issues that you once thought were gone have come back to torment you.

New temptations are brought out of nowhere.

All that surrounds you is the unknown.

No one who cares or understands seems to be anywhere in sight.

Yet something has to be keeping you going, but sometimes you’re not sure how, because feeling God is something long-forgotten…and you don’t want to seem ungrateful. But it’s just the reality of the situation.

Sound familiar?

Don’t doubt now. Choose to KNOW that you are in God’s will. Remember those things He spoke to you yesterday, last month, 10 years ago…

Know that through this, you will only come out stronger, full of wisdom, and full of life, just like Jesus did.

“…Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the God news of the kingdom of God.” (v14)

Don’t stop now.
